I always like to see what the weather is like in my hometown. So I have a widget dedicated to Chi-town right next to my local weather. When I switched it to Celsius, it became clear that I am in fact in opposite world.
The weather was supposed to be crazy here today. Last night, a television ticker announced that schools, city and state offices would be closed. It was supposed to be SUPER windy with winds of up to 60 miles per hour. At about 11:00 AM the weather service called off the severe wind advisory.
So we got our snow day, without any snow. I have to say, that is the best kine day.
